In this 3-disc, 4-1/2 hour presentation, esteemed gunbuilder Ron Ehlert shows how to assemble two Jim Chambers rifle kits. Ehlert demonstrates every step in the process, from barrel treatments to commercial and traditional stains. One rifle has a browned barrel, brass "daisy-head" patchbox and a single trigger. The other has a blued barrel, wooden patchbox, double-set triggers and aqua fortis stain. Both guns have nice carving and moldings. Ehlert shows how to install a White Lightning touch-hole liner, as well as how to install a percussion lock with drum and nipple.
