The articles in the fourth annual publication include: "Was Meriwether Lewis the Godfather of the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade?", "Going Indian: The Use of Leggings and Breech Clout by the Euro-American Trapper," "Union Pass: A Mountain of Many Waters," "Painting the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade: An Artist Creates On the Headwaters of Spanish River," "Warren Ferris, the Hudson's Bay Company and the Rendezvous of 1834," "Wheels to Rendezvous," and "Goggles in the Rocky Mountain West."

EACH ARTICLE ACCEPTED for publication is well written, heavily researched and peer-reviewed. The people on the reviewing panel are top-notch in their field and include historians and material culture experts. The authors for this volume include: Thomas Danisi, John Jackson, Clay Landry, Steve Banks, Tim Tanner, Scott Walker, Rick Williams, and Alida Boorn. The journal is nicely illustrated throughout with mostly original artwork and images in full color.
